Elementary Staggered Enrollment

Cankton Elementary Staggered Enrollment To: Parents and Guardians We will have a staggered enrollment beginning September 30, 2020. Below is information pertaining to what grade levels are to attend on certain days. This information is only for those students who will be attending school face to face and not for those who signed up for the Virtual Learning Academy. The buses will be running and we will still have our car rider drop off at the church. Car riders cannot be dropped off until 7:15 a.m. and buses begin unloading at 7:20 a.m. Any child that is dropped off after 7:45 will not be able to eat breakfast, because students will be eating in the classroom and instruction starts at 7:55. Our bell schedule is the same as last year. It rings at 7:55 a.m. to begin school and rings at 3:15 p.m. to end our school day. Our campus is closed to visitors. Only our employees and our students are allowed on campus. On Wednesday September 30, 2020 only Kindergarten, Second Grade and Fourth Grade students will attend school. On Thursday October 1, 2020 only Pre-K, First Grade, and Third Grade students will attend school. On Friday October 2, 2020 all grade levels will attend school and students who signed up for the Virtual Learning Academy will begin school from home. Thanks E. Scott Limoges

Supply Drop off

Cankton Elementary Supply Drop Off To: Parents and Guardians If your child will be attending school, we will have two days that you can come by and drop off your child’s supplies. Our drop off days are September 25, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and September 28, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can drop off supplies at the main entrance of the school or at the car rider gate, which is located in the church parking lot. I am asking that you stay in your vehicle when dropping off supplies. Parents will not be allowed on campus. Make sure to put your child’s name on the supplies, so that we can get it to the correct teacher. We will not be collecting any money for fees, spirit shirts, etc. on these days. You can send that with your child once school begins. I just want to remind you that these drop off days are only for students who will be attending school and not for those in the Virtual Academy. If you are unable to drop off supplies on these two days, then your child will have to come with them when they arrive for school. Thanks Scott Limoges
