CMS after-school program resumes today, January 7th. As a reminder, we do not have bus transportation, and you will need to pick up your child by 5:15 PM.
The peak of the cold and flu season is upon us and the Louisiana has been experiencing a noticeable increase in illness. The state and SLPSB have seen many cases of colds, flu, strep throat, COVID-19, and the stomach flu. The school staff will continue to wipe desks and high touch area in the schools. The district is asking the parents to assist in decreasing the spread of these viruses in the school community. To prevent widespread flu in the school, we recommend that your child stay home from school if he/she experiences flu or cold symptoms.
**If your child is diagnosed with influenza by a physician, please call me your child’s school to report the diagnosis.

Brighten someone’s day with a Candy Cane Gram! Send a gram to a friend, classmate, sibling, or staff member. Each gram with include a candy cane. Send $1.00 for each gram in an envelope and fill out your message by Thursday afternoon. Purchase and many as you would like. Candy Cane Grams will be delivered to classrooms on December 20, 2024. Proceeds will go towards PBIS.
